We have all heard the famous saying of ‘Old is Gold’ and to prove its
prevalence, Jaguar Rover has confirmed affirmatively to build six race
cars on the Lightweight E-Type
designs of 1963. These are being created with the vision to complete
the series of eighteen cars and have been planned to assign them the
chassis numbers which were assigned to the older six cars which were
never built then. The first end product of new cars which are being
built to the exact specifications of the previous twelve cars is
estimated to be launched by the summer end. The main features of the
project is that these cars would be hand-built by the company’s expert
craftsmen and will have the same aluminum body and 3.8-litre
straight-six engine as their older counterpart. This project can be seen
