From Concept to Prototype: Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge comes to Beijing

While the automakers from around the world have gathered in China to display their latest inventions in 2014 Beijing International Automobile Exhibition, Infiniti stunned the audiences with a running prototype of its Q50 Eau Rouge concept. The prototype is currently undergoing several dynamic tests, and we can expect further refinements in the design and machines.
The subsidiary of Nissan Motor Company has taken less than four months to build a running prototype of its most intricate concept design. The concept was revealed at the beginning of this year during the 2014 North American International Auto Show. Latterly at Geneva Motor Show last month, the manufacturer introduced a twin turbo 3.8 liter V6 gasoline engine injecting power to all the wheels. The engine is assisted by a seven-speed dual clutch manual/automatic transmission.
The design of prototype seems a bit different from the concept car that we saw in Detroit. The overall height of the car is dropped by 15mm to 20mm to record enhanced under-car airflow. The engineers are also considering the flat underside panel evaluation. Read More: AutosHype.com
