Jaguar C-X17 Bags Concept Vehicle Interior Award 2014

Jaguar C-X17 is among the latest concept vehicles that was first launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show as a design study that would particularly focus on the Jaguar’s new advanced aluminum monocoque architecture that will be the base for some of the sports saloon in the future. Jaguar C-X17 has now been honored with an award for Concept Vehicle Interior Design at the Automotive Interiors Expo 2014 Awards. The awards were hosted in Stuttgart and honors some of the world’s finest interior designers, innovations and products and comprises of all automotive interior excellence and innovation. Jaguar Announces Production of Road Legal F-Type Project 7

Jaguar has been focusing on superior performance vehicle and therefore has announced that they are going to build the F-Type Project 7 which will be their fastest and most powerful production Jaguar so far. Sharing more information about their upcoming sports car Jaguar mentioned that the new F-Type Project 7 will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014. This will mark the 60th anniversary year of the Jaguar D-Type racer vehicle which is the inspiration mark for the new F-Type vehicle. The new vehicle will be made by an exclusive run of up to 250 units and will be hand-built by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Operations team. Read More: AutosHype.com

Jaguar Brings Back the Lightweight E-Type Race Cars

We have all heard the famous saying of ‘Old is Gold’ and to prove its prevalence, Jaguar Rover has confirmed affirmatively to build six race cars on the Lightweight E-Type designs of 1963. These are being created with the vision to complete the series of eighteen cars and have been planned to assign them the chassis numbers which were assigned to the older six cars which were never built then. The first end product of new cars which are being built to the exact specifications of the previous twelve cars is estimated to be launched by the summer end. Read More: AutosHype.com

Jaguar announces winning Fearless Design concepts for Clerkenwell Design Week 2014

Jaguar is  a brand of Land Rover  owned by TATA Motors since 2008, Jaguar have publicly been declared Fearless Design competition winner. Under fearless Design,  The company, via social media ran a design competition as the principal sponsor of Clerkenwell  in the UK(20-22 May) for the fourth consecutive year it will be the headline sponsor. The entrant  is required to describe the inspiration behind the concept could only use 140 characters. Lan Callum the Jaguar Design director approved the winner Justin Silke the winner architect and interior designer and entitled to “untamed Creativity.” At design week, the design will be front stage at Jaguars exhibits with concepts based on  “Untamed Creativity idea.” Read More: AutosHype.com

Jaguar Brings Back the Lightweight E-Type Race Cars

The main features of the project is that these cars would be hand-built by the company’s expert craftsmen and will have the same aluminum body and 3.8-litre straight-six engine as their older counterpart. No Timeline Put for Hybrid Jaguar XE: Nick Mille

The forthcoming model range of Jaguar will not include hybrid powertrains, the chief program engineer for XE has confirmed. While speaking to the media, Nick Miller said the brand is in no rush towards a hybridized future, especially in the market segment of medium-sized luxury cars. The Jaguar XE is the first model that comes with the new Ingenium engine fitted into its variants. It will have a 2.0L four-cylinder, diesel engine with fuel consumption of only 3.8L/100km.
The new engine is however capable of handling hybrid components, giving the British car manufacturer a second chance to consider making hybrid powertrains just like its key rivals Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi who have developed the Mercedes-Benz C300, the BMW ActiveHybrid 3 and Audi A4 respectively.
